He asked me what I had been doing lately, and I said that I had been working on a website about driving.  He said something like, “What for, nobody cares.  It doesn’t matter.  If you drive defensively, there is no problem.”

Just over a year later, he was involved in a crash with another driver who backed out of a driveway without cleaning the snow off his windows.
